Juniper Tree, The Play, Jamboree, London, February 2026
A satyrical, unapologetically absurd interpretation of the Brothers Grimm' fairytale 'The Juniper Tree'. A dark, funny, and reflective take on the classic story about greed, grief, cannibalism, reincarnation and revenge. A nihilist narcissist stepmother, a rich naive dad, and a shy sensitive stepsister live through the tragedy of their young boy who is murdered. The boy reincarnates in form of a bird and sings the story of his tragedy to a vain goldsmith, a neurotic shoemaker, and an enlightened miller, in hope to get the courage to reunite with his family again. The reality and fantasy world blend together through experimental music, characters who live on different timelines, and a crossover of stories, including 'The Red Shoes', by Hans Christian Andersen. A cabaret style comedic performance, danced, and sung, where a new 'Juniper Tree' is born.

Till It Catch Up Art Ascend, 26 Lillie Rd, London, December 2025
Curator and exhibiting artist. "A picture taking on a life of its own, without prejudice, like the author who finds characters writing themselves into a novel unbidden. They have to be accepted on their own terms. The author is trapped by his or her own limitations, habits, style and prejudices while, all the while(?) trying to give free-rein to the trajectory these inventions claim for themselves, make them come alive, keep track of the way the book is going and keep all of it alive. In other words, make it work. Make the book, the painting, work. On its own terms. And, of course, not too far ahead of current understanding, otherwise it's meaningless until folk catch-up. I'm still trying to paint pictures outside of the conventions I'm stuck with and which I may not even realise I'm stuck with because of being so far and deep inside of 'em. Constructions masquerading as truth. I'm going off on one again. Time say goodnight. Lots of Love."

Disrupting Mythologies: Heist Set Woolwich, London, September-October 2024
Curator and exhibiting artist. “Artists are thieves, pricking from the language the city offers and the many worlds that collide within it. Finding the profundity that undulates beneath its surface, an urban mythology plays out. (…) Threading together unique narratives, the group is bound by the kindred nature of mythologising. Caught in the revolving door of the capitol, dynamic reflections from each artist offer complexity, deep observation, and humour.”, (excerpt from press release by Estelle Simpson).
Disrupting Mythologies: Troublemakers Hypha Studios, 6 Sugarhouse Lane, London, June - August 2024
Curator, workshop facilitator, and exhibiting artist. “In each age, mythology is kept alive as a means of making sense of the world, confirming we need meaning as much as we ever did. The collective beliefs surrounding verbal and visual narratives prevail in our present as motifs that provide explanation for humankind’s existential conditions. Yet a modern awareness sees us pestering the boundaries of past folklore and iconographies, clattering against the veneer of such symbology’s.”, (excerpt from press release by Estelle Simpson).

Three-month project between Camberwell College of Art and Drawing Room, at a time when Drawing Room is without premises. It is conceived as an exploration of contemporary drawing practice in public space drawing on the work of Mujeres Creando, a Bolivian women’s collective who use satire to problematise the ways women’s bodies are sexualized within patriarchal, Catholic society in South America. Working across different sites, students engaged in the work of Mujeres Creando and supported children from a local school to create work.
